I was born in Damascus and I can still recall when I was just four or
five my decision to leave, it became my only obsession. Twenty years
later I left without bitterness or regret. That day I knew that I left
for good.
This Installation is far from being just a series of traditional
memories of childhood, it is a quest to find my inner truth, this work
which took over my whole existence is the cord that ties me to this
country, to my homeland where I spent almost a quarter of a century.
